Summary: I started this a month ago tomorrow, based on a prompt of sorts in which Liam and Break do not immediately jump into bed together as soon as their feelings are established. The result is fluffy, fluffy sap. You may crave cake after reading this.
Length: 4,315 words. PLEASE NOTE that the vignettes are not in chronological order! They are in order, yes, but it's not chronological.

Author's Notes: Up until now my favorite of my own fanfics has been Moment. I think this one is going to replace it -- appropriate, perhaps, given that this is a whole lot of moments strung together. I am honestly, humbly proud of this piece. It has been years since I put so much sheer craftwork into any of my writing, and I didn't realize how much it took out of me until I finished it several days ago. Yes, this one is so important to me I actually let it sit for several days and then edited it instead of slamming it up hot off the press. Thanks so much to their_kingdom for her helpful feedback while I was proofreading.

This will probably be my last serious fic for quite some time, as NaNoWriMo is swiftly approaching. I hope you love it as much as I've come to.

This was inspired by a headache that decided to settle right behind my left eye this evening, and a poem I've been a bit preoccupied with in regards to the OTP. I don't know that the poem suits the story per se, but I looked for others and in the end it felt wrong not to use this one. Its presence adds a bit of nostalgia to the whole thing, I think.

Rating: R -- I wouldn't call it NC-17, but, you know, there's this one bit that...don't read it at work.
